This section of the edit resource dialog lets you specify more advanced features that most users don't use. This is segmented to provide a cleaner interface for the majority of users.

Custom Text: This is the custom text entry to use for the specific resource. Custom Text entries let you specify the exact text that gets sent in alerts more specifically. You can specify multiple different custom text entries and link them to different resources, or you can do like most, and use just the default custom text entry. You can click the small button to the right of the drop-down to add/edit/remove custom text entries. You can read more about custom texts by following the link below in the 'See Also' section.
