Overview

Schedules are used to determine how often resources a monitored, thresholds for sending notifications to notification groups, and exceptions to the monitoring schedule. Each resource must be linked to a schedule. Many people use only one schedule, but some may wish certain resources to be monitored more frequently than others-- for example, disk space monitoring may only have to take place hourly or even daily, but ping connectivity should take place every 1 or 5 minutes, depending on the importance of the device being monitored.
